162. Joseph Julien FALCON Sr.

Occupation: He was a cane planter and was on the Ascension Parish Police Jury from 1916 to 1920. He had a nice plantation home in Brusly McCall.

364. Christopher J FALCON

Chris had his own business. He had seven trucks that would do everything in the oil fields that had to be done. He was instrumental in developing a crane that is being used in the NASA program today. He also had the patent on the marsh buggy. Chris was a man that seems to have been a wheeler dealer. Some say his wife pushed him into it. He bought some land from Joseph Falcon which started a family feud. The land sold by Joseph was his wife's inheritance and was not rightfully his.

BIOGRAPHY: Perique was a very stern, disciplined man.  He wasn't liked very much by other cousins in the family.

Education: Although Jean's father was a wealthy and educated man, he refused to allow his children to be educated for unknown reasons.  Bitter about this, Jean decided to convince the parish to open a school on his property so that his children could have an education.


Language: Spoke Spanish, English, and French.  His wife only spoke French.
